FALKENBACH reveal new album details and release date!

Six months after the acclaimed vinyl-single “Eweroun“, Falkenbach release their sixth album “Asa“, the heathen metal forerunners’ worthy debut on Prophecy Productions. “Asa” is an all-out typical album for Falkenbach and combines elements from all creative periods of the project. It is characterized by a steady flow of both mellow and aggressive passages, blends harsh vocals with clean singing in an almost extinct West Germanic dialect and is once more remarkably epic as well as wistful. With this successful amalgamation of tradition without any clichés and fiery passion, Falkenbach again prove their superiority in the face of trivial “Pagan Metal”. It will be released by Prophecy Productions on November 1st, 2013 and it is already available for pre-order in the following editions:

Amon Amarth "Deceiver of the Gods"

Amon Amarth‘s ninth full-length album, Deceiver of the Gods, will be released in North America on June 25th, 2013. The album was recorded at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, UK between January and March 2013. Acclaimed producer Andy Sneap (Opeth, Megadeth, Killswitch Engage) produced, mixed, and mastered Deceiver of the Gods. Cover art was, once again, completed by Tom Thiel, and is revealed across three panels, the center of which is the cover of the album. Fans will also recognize a guest appearance on this album: Messiah Marcolin (ex-Candlemass) provides guest vocals for the eighth song, Hel.

Falkenbach - Eweroun

Release date: 26.04.2013

Heralding the arrival of Falkenbach's sixth album "Åsa", the debut of these Heathen Metal pioneers with Prophecy Productions, the new song "Eweroun" will be released April 26th as a limited 7" vinyl single. With its epic atmosphere as well as the interplay of acoustic and metal elements, "Eweroun" marks the stylistic range to be expected of the new album following later this year. The single is limited to 500 copies and side B is adorned with an etching of the band's logo.
